While we were there, the staff was short handed but provided great service. The food was great and hot and didn't take long. We will go back again!

My favorite place to have lunch. Food is always terrific. Atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. You can enjoy darts, skill game machines. Pizza is amazing. Drinks are great and made with care and a smile.

The food was great! I had potato skins and chicken wings with lemon pepper and Cajun dry rub...Will visit again!

This is a great little place with a huge punch. The menu offers a wide variety of comfort foods. Not much of a looker but dont let that fool you. The fish and chips are excellently done with a light, yet hearty batter and a mountain of hand cut fries. The crab patty po boy is the size of a 1/2 pound burger. Tender, juicy and flavorful. The chicken salad is a mountain of fresh salad mix that is big enough for two. All for more than reasonable pricing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This was a pleasant surprise to say the least. I look forward to a return trip.

In town visiting from Phoenix, AZ and googled food and drinks. Sandbar popped up, so I decided to try it. Both bartenders working were very attentive and pleasant. I had the N'awlins burger, and it was amazing. Perfectly cooked patty with seasoned gulf shrimp. Next time I'm in VA I will be back

My boyfriend took me to his favorite water hole for the first time tonight. Our bartender Mike was awesome dude. Very attentive, has a great personality and runs the bar like a boss! We ordered a À Surry Burger with a side of loaded tots. OMG Hands down the best burger. The atmosphere was really layed back and chill. No crazy trying to start trouble. I will absolutely come back next time I'm in town. Sandbar is for sure the place to be! Thank you for making such a great first impression.

The wait staff are amazing, bad with names but pretty sure Gracie and Tiffany specifically. Haven't tried the food but the environment is very homey. Check it out if you're looking for a chill bar experience. Also they might get much more rowdy on other days/nights so don't think it's just chill. *Update* tried the burger and fries, fugging great!

Mom and I visited Midtown Eats today. It had been a while since we had eaten there, and we thought we would give it a try again. Mom got the chicken salad on rye with cole slaw. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. I got a brisket philly and onion rings to go. The burger was great, as I had remembered they were. The fries were okay, but I'll get the onion rings next time. They were lightly battered and fried to perfection. They were actually hand breaded onion rings, which I love . The interior was simple, and was very clean. Mom and I will visit again soon. We got there at 11, when they opened, so it wasn't busy. Two gentlemen came in when we were leaving, so it wasn't too busy. The food came out quickly. It would be worth a try!
